Many of us want to and need to lose weight, so we set weight loss goals to to do so. This is a good thing. We must set goals to achieve them. When you set your goals they should be realistic and obtainable. People often set goals that are neither healthy or realistic. This causes them to seek solutions that may cause health damage or at least just failure. So the first key to setting realistic healthy goals is to understand that by expecting too much you may fall for the many marketing ploys of the outrageous fad diets, lotions, potions and pills.
Unrealistic Expectations.
When you set unrealistic goals you set yourself up for failure as you try goals that are not healthy and unrealistic. This is not uncommon at all. An event comes up such as a graduation, wedding or class reunion and we try to get to a size we haven’t seen in years. This motivates many people to work hard to lose weight and set unrealistic goals. There are people who trying to lose 20 to 30 pounds in 30 days. This is not likely to happen for most people and you become frustrated when those plans do not work. Simply set realistic healthy goals and you will succeed.
What are Realistic Healthy Weight Loss Goals.
It is safe and healthy to lose 2 to 3 pounds a week. This equates to about 10 to 15 pounds a month. Yes you can lose more and many people do when they are first starting a program. But it is unrealistic to keep losing more than 2 or 3 pounds a week. People who are seriously overweight (obese), who lead sedentary lifestyles without much physical activity and eat a high fat low fiber diet will initially lose more weight if they eat healthy, exercise and use natural nutritional vitamin supplements. To be safe and healthy, plan on losing 2 to 3 pounds per week. That is best for most people.
My Personal Journey.
When I started my program I was about 45 pounds overweight and very out of shape. I did not believe I could lose 45 pounds but I knew I had to lose weight and get in shape. So I set my goals that equated to 30 pounds in 3 months. The good thing that happened is that I permanently changed my eating habits and began to exercise regularly as well as take Advocare Weight Loss products, like the meal replacement shakes, spark energy drink, and the catalyst pills after reading these Biofit reviews that helped me a lot with all this. Once a quarter I would do a 10-day herbal cleanse. Because my change of bad habits to good habits was permanent I have been able to lose over 40 pounds and keep them off. This took about 5 months to come off and it has been nearly a year where the weight has stayed off.
You Can Lose Weight Too.

Set Realistic Healthy Weight Loss Goals and make the necessary changes in your eating habits, exercise regularly and use nutritional vitamin supplements to support your healthy diet and weight loss and you will lose weight too.
